The Ibaraki JHS boys team participated in the Ibaraki Mainichi basketball tournament from January 21-28.

We won our first two games in Namegata Machi, on January 21 and advanced to the next round which was held in Ibaraki Machi on January 27.

The weather was clear and sunny, so we stretched and did our warm up outside with a view of Mt Tsukuba.

We won the next two games and advanced to the third round of the tournament held in Hitachi Omiya on January 28.

We played our best, but we lost the match to Minori JHS.

Although we lost, our team finished among the best 32 out of 183 teams in Ibaraki.
